Product and process improvements have been made by John Pockett in a wide range of industries where he has worked.

Close analysis has been made of manufacturing methods to identify areas where yields are low or cost reductions can be made. Alternatives have been put forward resulting in large cost savings in manufacture.

In some cases the quality of products has been improved or the ability of production to meet customer specifications enhanced.

A desire for continuing professional development meant that John has undertaken and recently completed parttime/fulltime an Applied Science PhD in materials science.
